„UV rocks“ hatte sich die IST METZ GmbH für die UV DAYS 2015 auf die Fahnen geschrieben. Und UV hat gerockt: mehr Platz, mehr Gäste, mehr Aussteller – die siebten UV DAYS endeten am Donnerstag mit einer Reihe von Superlativen. 800 Besucherinnen und Besucher aus aller Welt kamen vom 15. – 18. Juni nach Nürtingen bei Stuttgart, wo der UV-Spezialist seinen Hauptsitz hat. IST METZ informierte über UV-Lampentechnologie genauso wie über die immer stärker nachgefragte LED-Technologie. Veranschaulicht wurden beide Trocknungstechnologien anhand einer Gitarre aus Karton.

„UV rocks“ has been the motto of IST METZ GmbH for UV DAYS 2015. And UV did rock: more space, more guests, more exhibitors – the seventh edition of UV DAYS ended with a whole set of superlatives. 800 visitors from all over the world came to Nuertingen near Stuttgart in Germany where the UV specialist has its headquarters. IST METZ informed about UV lamp technology as well as the increasingly popular LED technology. Both drying technologies were demonstrated with a cartonboard guitar.

At UV DAYS 2015, the world's largest in-house exhibition of UV technology hosted by IST METZ, 800 guests from all over the world got to know the latest trends in UV printing. In keeping with the motto “UV rocks!”, a paper guitar has been printed and finished live at the event on the company's own sheet-fed offset press. It consists of two parts, the neck and the body, which are folded to make a three-dimensional solid. An app allows for the guitar to be "played". The guitar can also be used as a soundbox by means of laser fine cutting in the front of the body.

The Marketing department at IST METZ has now come up with something special for this classic printed product: the TourIST calendar shows off innovative UV printing technology, is multifunctional and has a long life.

They informed themselves about the state of the art of UV technology which IST METZ demonstrated impressively with a multifunctional packaging. Several printing presses were on site as well as an exhibition with 26 partners.

At UV DAYS, IST METZ GmbH presented a packaging manufactured with UV sheet-fed offset and digitally finished, that is multifunctional and hence offers an additional value at the Point of Sale. The BLK^® LAMPcure is a newly developed UV curing system designed to meet the highest of industrial requirements. When compared to conventional UV systems, remarkable progress has been made in drying performance of the BLK^® LAMPcure. This means greater productivity with reduced operating costs.
